Know the Artists

Welcome! I’m Yui Kinney—a wildlife artist, storyteller, and dreamer based in Pittsford, New York.
Born in Thailand and now painting between cultures, I create acrylic and watercolor paintings that connect the spiritual and natural worlds. I believe animals are more than subjects—they’re silent teachers, symbols of wisdom, protectors of forgotten forests, and voices of hope.
My art combines realism with a mystical touch: golden keys, floating crowns, moonlit symbols, and dramatic carry layered meaning in each piece. I’m inspired by ancient Thai legends like the Himmapan Forest, where mythical creatures journey toward enlightenment—a theme I’ve reimagined in my series Unlocking Himmapan. Other series like From Ashes to Hope reflect on animals affected by wildfires and climate change, offering a message of strength, healing, and renewal.
Through my art, I hope to create spaces where viewers can slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel a sense of wonder. Whether you’re an art lover, collector, or curious visitor—thank you for being here. Your support keeps this dream alive.
